Frown Sullen

early sketches. leading up to character personalization

Frown and his troupe of performers, A look into his life in his mid 20s when he enjoyed minor success performing n the streets of Peggy Valley and occasionally before the mayor in bizenia square. Pencil sketch inspired by  Cadiz carnival.

The three stages of Frown's life.  From his brief and minor success in his mid 20s, to his breakdown and giving up on performing, to the state he is known now: a part time drunk and reciter of poetry, usually found in the crab and sheep pub.

To the left, a depiction of Frown before he gave his last performance , a drunken sing along in the depths of candlestick park. To the right, Frown in his heyday, when he had successfully formed his own troupe, which performed to merry crowds in the backstreets of Peggy Valley.

Frown on a boat, going through a sea of hideousness. To be used in dream sequence.

The three stages of Frown's life, large scale.

Frown in a storyboard!

Studies for Mural painting: Frown performs a song for the first time since his last performance,  as a tide of hideousness sweeps through Peggy Valley.
